lessons I have learned with some difficulty

  1. Bring a sweater.
  2. If I’m not failing, I’m not trying hard enough.
  3. By doing a little bit each day, I can move mountains.
  4. Monumental tasks are usually not as awful as they seem.
  5. Always be kind to everyone.
  6. Self-discipline takes daily effort, and that’s OK!
  7. What’s fun for one person may not be fun for other people… And vice versa.
  8. Don’t get offended. It accomplishes nothing.
  9. What I do every day matters more than what I do once in a while.
  10. People just want to feel respected and validated.
  11. If I can’t find something, clean up. Organize.
  12. It’s OK to work really, really hard at something.
  13. I can do hard things
  14. I don’t have to be good at everything.
  15. Just be brave!
  16. Happiness doesn’t mean being in a constant state of feeling happy.
  17. There are many different definitions of success.
  18. Putting myself down only makes those around me feel uncomfortable and annoyed.
  19. No deposit. No return.
  20. God first. Always.
